Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Derik A. Martin AKA Derik WealthySoul is a first generation Nigerian American born artist raised in New York City. Derik is a visual artist, songwriter, music producer and an alternative R&B preforming artist. After making a name for himself in the Brooklyn entertainment scene he traded one big city for another.  With the vision to plant seeds and create a sustainable blueprint for artists of all mediums he rooted himself in Chicago, IL.

While experiencing segregation in Chicago and wanting a change Derik set up the first ever TribeHouse location on 43rd and Princeton on the southside of Chicago in the fuller park neighborhood.

After the release of his first Tape “It’s My Birthday” Derik dove head first into the business aspect of the company opening a 1600 sq ft art gallery in Chinatown & later upgrading to a 4000 sq ft members only art gallery in the center of Chicago six corners.

Derik is available for studio sessions, brand and marketing consultations, and collaborations.
